About
My route into dietetics ran through health sciences at Champlain College and then the dietetics programme at McGill. Nutrition is one of the few parts of a care plan a patient takes part in every day, which is what keeps me in it.
Most of my clinical hours were spent at the bedside: taking a nutrition history, reading the chart alongside the rest of the team, and turning that into a plan a person can actually follow once they leave. The rest of my work has been operational — running a kitchen that feeds 300 residents, where the plan has to survive contact with procurement, allergies, and kosher standards.

Clinical nutrition assessment
Taking a nutrition history, screening for risk, and writing an assessment that the care team can act on.
Oncology and internal medicine
Internship rotations through oncology, internal medicine, and the emergency department at the Jewish General Hospital.
Long-term care food service
Daily meal production for 300 residents, including quality control, hygiene standards, and kosher compliance.
Health promotion and outreach
Wellness programming and campaigns for a student population of 350+, shaped by what residents said they wanted.
